By surface streets from downtown San Diego:
Drive north on First Avenue to Redwood Street. The temple is set back from the street, on the left.
By freeway from Los Angeles and Encinitas:
Take interstate Freeway No. 5 (Santa Ana and San Diego Freeways) to Washington Street in San Diego. Turn left, and proceed to University Avenue. Continue to First Avenue, turn right, and drive nine blocks to the temple, on the right.
By train from Los Angeles or Encinitas:
Amtrak Railway offers several scheduled trips daily from Los Angeles, and from Solana Beach (three miles south of Encinitas - the train station nearest to Encinitas).
By bus from downtown San Diego:
