Take Santa Ana Freeway 5 south to Encinitas Blvd. (100 miles from Los Angeles). Turn right and go to Coast Highway 101. Turn left and continue to "I" Street, turn right to intersection of "I" Street and Second Street. Turn right on Second Street.

By Freeway from San Diego:

Take Interstate Freeway 5 north to Encinitas. Exit at Encinitas Boulevard off-ramp. Turn left and proceed as from Los Angeles, above.

By train from Los Angeles or San Diego:

Amtrak Railway offers several trips daily to the closest train station, in Solana Beach, three miles south of Encinitas. From Solana Beach, you can take a taxi to the Temple or Ashram grounds.

By bus from San Diego or Los Angeles:

The Greyhound bus does not stop in Encinitas. However, you can take the Greyhound to the Oceanside Transit Center, 12 miles north of Encinitas, and transfer to NCTD bus #101 which runs along the Coast Highway. Most people coming from Los Angeles prefer to take the Amtrak train to Solana Beach.
